OXYGEN SCIENTIFIC

Oxygen Sensing and Control  Technologies

VISION

Lightweight and ergonomic Life supporting breathing systems that allow natural breathing in  hostile environments.

At Oxygen Scientific we develop O2 sensor and gas control technollgies for the next generation of breathing systems.

We offer

Excellence in Sensor Technologies, Embedded Systems, Breathing Systems, Diving and Physiology

O2 Sensors

Galvanic O2 sensors are used in many medical, industrial, automotive and safety systems. Their biggest drawbacks are their short lifetime and the anode, which consist of Pb, a hazardeous substance listed as forbidden substance in the RoHS directive.

At Oxygen Scientific we develop a new type of optical O2 sensor, which can directly replace galvanic O2 sensors, has an up to 5 times longer lifetime and is RoHS compliant.

Monitoring of Physiological Parameters

Our dataloggers are designed to record various physiological parameters in the most challenging environments.

Data Visualisation

The Oxygen Scientific HUDC 2.0 head up dive computer is designed for the most demanding divers.

Dive relevant data are displayed directly in front of the diver's eye.

Features include:

  • high resolution 320x240 RGB TFT IPS microdisplay

  • Buehlmann ZH-L16 decompression algorithm with Gradient Factors

  • Trimix, OC and CC

  • Wireless air integration

  • Wireless readout of pO2 sensors

  • BT5.0, USB

Motivation

Arne Sieber, CEO

PhD, Assoc. Professor for biomedical engineering, diver, outdoor enthusiast

I have been fascinated by the sea since I was a child. Diving was always one of my favourite activities.

After working many years in medical research and in the dive industry, in 2021 it was time to found  Oxygen Scientific GmbH, where my team and I develop innovative oxygen sensor technologies and exciting  diving systems.
