Environmental friendly and long lifetime oxygen sensor for medical and life support equipment 

GREENFLASH O2 SENSOR

A solid state oxygen sensor, based on fluorescence quenching. The sensing layer incorporates special dyes, which fluorescent when exposed to green light. The amplitude as well as the lifetime of the fluorescence light corresponds to the amount of oxygen.

SMART SENSOR INTERFACE

Although our GREENFLASH O2 sensor is a digital sensor, is can also output an analog signal thanks to our patent pending smart interface technology. This allows using the sensor in already existing life support system,  originally designed for galvanic O2 sensors.

GREEN TECHNOLOGY

The electrochemical working principle of galvanic O2 sensors is based on oxydation of lead (Pb). Pb is a hazardeous substance and is not allowed to be used in electronic and medical equipment. 

Our GREENFLASH O2 sensor is Pb free and is fully RoHS compatible.

SERVICE INTERVAL

Our GREENFLASH O2 Sensor has a lifetime of more than 5 years. In contrast, traditional galvanic sensors need to be replaced in 12 month intervals.
